The Seiko SSA441J1 is an elegant watch that combines classic watchmaking with modern finesse. The case is made of stainless steel and measures 40.5 mm in diameter, large enough to make a statement, yet subtle enough to be worn with a sharp suit or a casual outfit. 

Under the hood, the automatic calibre 4R38 ticks: a reliable, solid movement that winds itself through the motion of your wrist and also allows for manual winding. The power reserve is approximately 41 hours. 

What makes this model extra special is the dark green dial combined with an “open heart” window: you can literally see the heart of the watch ticking. 

The case features Hardlex glass and a transparent case back, allowing you to admire the mechanism from the rear as well. The bracelet is also made of steel and closes with a folding clasp. 

With a water resistance of up to 50 meters (5 ATM), this watch is sufficiently water-resistant for a rain shower or splashes, although it is not intended as a diving watch.

Automatic winding means that the movement's mainspring is wound by the motion of the wrist. The movement has a power reserve of 41 hours. A new generation automatic watch is equipped with a manual winding mechanism, meaning that when the watch has completely stopped, the mainspring can be manually wound by turning the crown.
