Repairs
Our watch workshop
At Juwelier Van de Heyning, every watch is treated with the utmost care. In our own workshop, we carry out repairs and maintenance on all watch brands , both mechanical and quartz. Our certified watchmakers combine craftsmanship with modern techniques, ensuring that every timepiece functions as it did on the first day after servicing.
Repairs in our own repair workshop
For the brands we distribute ourselves, such as Seiko, Maurice Lacroix, Rodania, Lorus, Casio, Danish Design, Garonne and Swiss Military Hanowa , we carry out all repairs and maintenance in our own workshop.
Thanks to direct access to original parts and technical documentation, we can repair these watches according to the manufacturer's official guidelines. This guarantees fast service and fair prices.
Solutions for other watch brands
Even for watches not in our range, we always find a suitable solution. If parts are available, we carry out the repair in our workshop with the same care and precision.
For luxury brands or specialized timepieces for which parts are only available through the manufacturer, we collaborate with the brand's official service centers and workshops. In such cases, you will always receive an official estimate for approval before the repair is carried out.
We also offer solutions for watches from brands like Omega, Rolex, Breitling, Longines, Rado, Tag Heuer, Cartier, Piaget, Bell & Ross, Baume & Mercier, Gucci, Certina, Balmain, Tissot, Oris, Edox, and others. This ensures your watch remains in the hands of professionals with expertise in the brand and respect for original craftsmanship.
Maintenance of mechanical Swiss watches
A Swiss watch requires regular maintenance to minimize wear, maintain proper lubrication, and ensure water resistance. It's a precisely calibrated piece of craftsmanship exposed to various forces, movements, and substances. Therefore, to prevent extensive damage from dust, sweat, caked-on oil, and sand, regular maintenance is recommended.
Depending on the type and use, we recommend having your watch serviced every five years . A full service is recommended after ten years to ensure the movement's longevity and accuracy.
Complete maintenance of your watch
A full service involves completely disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling the movement. Worn parts are replaced, the movement is oiled and adjusted, and the case and bracelet can be polished to their original finish.
Your watch is welcome in our workshop
Whether it's a simple battery replacement, a complex mechanical repair, or a full service, every watch in our workshop is treated with the same care and precision. Feel free to bring in your timepiece, even if it wasn't purchased from us.
