Read everything you need to know about ear piercing below, from the technique to aftercare and frequently asked questions.
Ear Piercing with Studex System 75™
For ear piercing, we work with the Studex System 75™. This system does not "shoot" holes but “places” them with extreme precision. Thanks to the visible positioning, we can place the piercing millimeter by millimeter. The stud that goes through the earlobe is thinner than with other methods, resulting in less tissue damage and an almost painless experience. The silent system and sterile packaging ensure a safe, hygienic procedure. Additionally, the earring closes at the ideal distance from the skin, which may make the earring feel a bit looser, but this is good for optimal healing.

A Positive Experience for Children
For children aged one year and older, we turn ear piercing into a fun experience. Our patient team helps your child choose their favorite earrings. For children, we work with two staff members so that both ears are pierced simultaneously. No tears, just radiant faces! Children proudly go home with a new pair of earrings. This makes ear piercing the perfect gift for birthdays, communions, spring festivals, or any other special moment. If you want to be 100% sure that both earrings are placed at the same time, you can make an appointment online. Moreover, your child receives a certificate of bravery after getting their ears pierced, which is nice to show to family and friends.
A Wide Range of Piercing Earrings
Our collection of piercing earrings offers the right pair for everyone, from timeless classic earrings to cheerful figures like ladybugs and flowers. All earrings are made of high-quality materials, such as surgical steel, anti-allergenic titanium, or 18-carat gold. Prices vary depending on the material and model:
- Surgical steel: €29 - €39
- Titanium: €39
- 18-carat gold: €119-€129
And the best part? The ear piercing service is completely free with the purchase of piercing earrings.

Good Healing After Ear Piercing
Good aftercare is important for the rapid healing of properly placed ear piercings. We advise you on how to care for your new ear piercings:
- Keep the new earrings in continuously for the first 6 weeks. After this, you can change them.
- Wear earrings always for three months, even at night, to prevent the holes from closing up.
- Clean and disinfect the front and back of the ear every day (for the first week) with Augusta disinfectant.
- Be careful with shampoo residue after washing your hair, as it can cause irritation.

Do you experience redness or swelling for longer than a week? Check if the earrings are not too tight, remove them, and consult a doctor if necessary.
After 6 weeks, you can change your earrings; be sure to check out our large collection of silver children's earrings.
